Summary: The house itself is great, a little rundown, and in desperate need of upgrades and maintenance (4 out of 6 lights were out in one of the bathrooms). The amenities list a pool or pool access at a neighboring property, it was simply just crossed out in the guide, and we had no pool access. The washer didn’t work, and noone communicated back with us on whether it got fixed after we brought it to their attention. The TV provider hadn’t been paid, so the TV didn’t work. We also surprised to learn that the house came with no extra toilet paper, trashbags, handsoap for all bathrooms and not even salt and pepper in the kitchen cabinets. We saw we had to pay for electricity usage and water usage exceeding a certain amount, but no estimates were provided, and since this is a tropical island, we did use the AC units and are now worried about this additional cost. The amenities also say it’s a 2 minute walk to the beach, well it’s more like a 5 minute drive in a car. It’s a great location, if you want to see more of the island, and blue bay beach is gorgeous.
