Positive: Great stay – clean, comfortable, and in a perfect location Despite the disappointing breakfast, I have to say that the accommodation itself exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is situated in a beautiful and peaceful location, perfect for relaxing or exploring the surrounding area. It's easy to access, has convenient parking, and is close to local attractions – an excellent base for trips. The room was spacious, modern, and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom spotless, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained. It's clear that attention is given to cleanliness and upkeep. The interior was tastefully designed, both practical and cozy. I especially appreciated how quiet it was at night – I slept really well during my stay. Even though the breakfast wasn’t the highlight, the overall impression in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and location was very positive. If you’re looking for a place that’s clean, quiet, well-furnished, and well-located, this hotel is definitely a great choice.
Negative: Unfortunately, the buffet-style breakfast at this hotel was a real disappointment. It felt rushed and completely unprofessional. Honestly, even a clever 12-year-old could have managed to lay out sliced ham, salami and cheese on plates, scoop two kinds of jam into small bowls, put out a plate with a 250g chunk of butter, bake two semi-finished loaves of bread, boil 20 hard eggs (well, about 10, since the rest were cold—probably from the day before), add a few bowls of vegetables, and toss some large grocery-brand yogurt packages into the fridge. Oh, and there were cereals too. All in all—maybe 15 minutes of work, including two cigarette breaks. The whole “buffet” felt very amateurish, like something thrown together just because it had to be there. The cook didn’t seem to be in control, and the waitress clearly handled everything by herself. For a hotel breakfast, I would expect a bit more care, freshness, and at least some attention to presentation. Having stayed at many hotels across Norway, I have to say that these breakfasts were a big letdown—especially in contrast with the accommodation itself, which I found to be excellent in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and overall quality. Summary? More like a rushed homemade snack than a proper hotel breakfast—something that felt like it was made by my wife when she’s mad at me.
