Positive: What a lovely cottage by the sea in the sweet town of Binibeca. Communications with the owner were 5-star- Magalie was lovely answering MANY questions we had, as this was our first trip to Menorca. Also, very responsive when we communicated that both the indoor fan and exterior umbrella's were in need of repair- they were fixed that day! Walking distance to the little village- beautiful setting. A/C- which was needed mostly due to mosquitoes at dusk and for sleeping. FABULOUS rooftop deck. Very sweet place to stay for a few nights. Great little kitchen with some basics left that was a nice touch- some spices, olive oil, a welcome gift basket with water, wine, and coffee-- super thoughtful.
Negative: other than our stay was too short... The beds, pillows and bedding were a little light. I am also used to pretty plush soft mattresses and pillows. All bedidng felt more like futon mattresses - totally sleepable but if the bedding was upgraded I would have rated this an 11 on a scale of 1-10. Hard to find the guest book and information pamphlets ( they are in front of the TV), but once we did, that was helpful. Would have been nice to have awnings on teh rooftop deck- VERY hot up there
