Welcome to our brand new ICF (insulated concrete form) house with touches of reclaimed 100+ year old wood features. We are situated minutes between Brannen Lake boat launch and five minute drive to Long lake. Both lakes accommodate power boats. We are located in a residential neighbourhood and are close to all amenities such as restaurants, shopping, and other fun activities. Minutes drive to Departure Bay ferry terminal and 20 minute drive to the Nanaimo airport and Duke Point Ferry terminal.
the space
our guest house (full separate house) is 968 square feet with 16 foot vaulted ceilings in the main living space We have a fully supplied kitchen with full sized appliances (stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher) for all of your cooking needs. The custom kitchen island is from our own Douglas fir tree that used to live in that exact spot. It's a beautiful feature that we hope our guest like and respect as we do. The living room has a large gas fireplace and a full size pull out couch for guests. The two bedrooms both feature queen sized beds. There is a difference with the two bedrooms as one is the master with a walk in closet and half bathroom while the second is smaller but has a double closet. The main full bathroom has a double sink vanity, toilet and tiled bath/shower.
outside has a large covered deck for guests to enjoy We asks guests to enjoy their own space and not to wander around the rest property. There are walking and bike trails close by to explore. Between Two Lakes is also a great choice to stay during the winter months as we are located a short hour and 20 minutes from beautiful Mount Washington for Skiing/ snowboarding/ tubing and site seeing. Come home and enjoy the cozy gas fireplace.

there isn't any wheelchair accessibility to the guest house Guests must be able to go up a couple stairs to access the house. There are side stairs off the deck that go to the side of the guest house. This is the area where guest can hang out as well as the front covered deck.
