This amazing home in the gated Playacar neighborhood sits just 150 yards from the ocean, six blocks from downtown Playa Del Carmen, and one block from the Hard Rock golf course and day spa. Enjoy 3300 sf of air conditioned luxury including travertine floors, vaulted ceilings, a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with stainless appliances, custom cabinetry, granite counters and gas range, a spacious great room with indoor dining for 11 and two large couches, Lucid memory mattresses & luxury bamboo sheets in every bedroom. The house also has 1200 sf of covered outdoor patios, including a large restaurant style bar with seating for 8, outdoor dining table for six, and a covered ping pong table overlooking the pool. The main master has its own private patio, and the house also has a 700 square foot rooftop deck for yoga, private sunbathing or stargazing Two huge master suites (both on the second floor) each include a king bed, full size sleeper sofa, Smart TV and en suite bathroom. The 3rd King bedroom (on the first floor) has an en suite bathroom. The 4th king bedroom (also on the first floor) includes a sofa and access to the first floor half bath. The two second floor master bedrooms each contain a small ancillary sleeping room. One of these has a full size bed and nightstand. One has a twin bed and night stand. There is also a 1/2 bath off the living room. Full laundry room. Once weekly maid service & bottled water included. The front yard includes a private pool, natural cenote and waterfal. Four adult bicycles are available for guests to use. There is also a community tennis court and large lagoon style community pool are 75 yards from the house. I keep a storage armoire filled with tennis rackets, pickleball rackets and pool / beach toys. Guests may also use the pool and chairs located at the adjacent Reef Playacar Resort for free (up to 4 adults at a time and BASED ON LIMITED AVAILABILITY (the resort accepts up to 30 "card access" guests from outside of the actual resort per day - so go early if you wish to use the resort)..

Summary: This property is a gem in the Playacar gated neighborhood of Playa del Carmen. We were met by the housekeeper to get oriented to the features of the home on arrival. The home and grounds were much better than even the photos and description. There are essentially three larger sleeping spaces and one smaller one off the living room. All the beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed to do basic cooking in the large kitchen. The patio has a bar, large table, ping pong, supplies for the beach, and two small pools with lounge furniture. Access to the beach was simple and the stretch of beach was beautiful and not crowded. It was a safe, simple 15 min walk to downtown for dining and shopping. The owner was easily available for questions during our stay. We also had an issue of forgetting something at the house and the owner/ housekeeper team went above and beyond to help us. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in a beautiful property in a safe neighborhood near the beach.
