Beautiful Ground Floor Condo on Award Winning Beach | Condo in Longboat Key

Hi everybody, if our available dates don't work, please let me know, we do have another condo and lots of friends with condos down here as well and I can probably fix you up somewhere. Our condo is open, as are the beaches, pool, tennis court, restaurants, etc. On Longboat Key itself, there are few cases of the virus. We are on an island after all. The County has numerous cleaning and other requirements for your safety and our own internal requirements meet or exceed what is required by the County/CDC. Please also note that our condo has its own separate entrance, there are no enclosed corridors or hallways to get to the unit, it is accessible by open air stairway (or elevator) and it has its own independent HVAC system and air handler, so you are not sharing air from the neighboring room. We are keeping very high cleanliness standards for your protection. Additionally, for the near future we will offer a full refund if Covid conditions would become such that our beach was closed or the surrounding restaurants were forced to close down due to the virus. I don't think this would ever happen however, as our area has had very minimal conditions, particularly on Longboat Key itself. and thank you for reviewing our site! our condo is #f5 at casa del mar beach resort It has an extended Living Room and Patio for extra square feet of room to call your own. It has a screened in patio with comfortable furniture for sitting and enjoying the beautiful Florida temperatures. It is a ground floor unit so it is easily accessible with no stairs to climb while hauling luggage and groceries. Parking is available right next to the front door. The condo sits just a few units down from the pool and beach, close enough for easy access from the patio, but far enough away to eliminate the noise from the pool area. It is located within the renovated Casa Del Mar Resort, on the gorgeous beaches of Longboat Key, and near the cultural haven of Sarasota. The resort is on the beach side of the island and has its own private beach area, lounge chairs and umbrellas (there is a small fee for the umbrella rental). The Casa Del Mar buildings are all on the beach side of the road so all of the units are very close to the beach and pool. We take very good care of our units and make sure they all have nice mattresses, fully stocked kitchens, and lots of extras to make your stay enjoyable. This will be a vacation you will always remember.

our f5 condominium has been extensively renovated and also is one of the few in the resort with an extended living room and patio area, giving you plenty of room to stretch out and feel comfortable The bathrooms were recently updated in granite and tile and the kitchen as well with granite and beautiful tile backsplashes, as well as newer appliances. If you like to spend time on the patio, you will love the extended patio area with comfortable chairs and tables. We also added some fun stuff like a wine bottle fridge. The condo has a wi-fi connection. There is a new huge flat screen HDTV in the living room (60 inch) and both bedrooms (31 inch). There is also a safe in the Master Bedroom closet. The condo is a two bedroom, two bath, with a queen sized sleeper sofa in the living room. The master has a king sized bed and the guest bedroom has two singles, so the condo can sleep six comfortably. The unit also has its own washer and dryer.

longboat key is a safe, quiet, beach community While there are lots of restaurants (including one just a couple doors down) and shops, it is a very “residential” community compared to most beach front areas that can be crowded, have traffic congestion, and noisy. So, Longboat is perfect for relaxing with friends and family. You will enjoy the mild temperatures all year round, with highs in the winter months averaging in the low seventies and breezes off of the Gulf in the summer. The beaches in this area rate as tops in the nation by numerous publications and the beautiful white sandy beach directly in front of Casa Del Mar is no exception. Spend time on the beach lounging and watching the birds as you all enjoy the warm water and soft white sand! Longboat offers numerous activities as well; golfing, fishing (from shore or boat), biking (bike trail right out in front of the resort runs for miles), bird watching, walks along the beach or on the walking/biking trail that runs right by the resort are a few of the casual activities available on the island. All of your needed conveniences are nearby as well. Longboat has a large grocery store, a CVS pharmacy, and several nice restaurants. It also has several churches and a synagogue right on the island. If this is your first visit, you will see why Longboat was recently rated the #2 island destination in North America by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine. Just across the bridge is St. Armands Circle, with numerous unique shops and outstanding restaurants. On the adjacent mainland is the town of Sarasota, with abundant cultural activities such as opera, museums, art exhibits and numerous dining and shopping opportunities. Included among them are the galleries of the Ringling Museum of Art and live theater at Van Wezel Performing Arts Center and Aloso Repertory Theatre. Other attractions are the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens and Joan Durante Park just up the street. A family favorite, the Mote Marine has Gulf related marine life exhibits and touching pools. Just about an hour up the interstate is Busch Gardens which has rides, shows, animal attractions and lots of fun for the whole family. Within about a three hour drive is Disney World in Orlando. The area around Longboat offers numerous other activities as well, so, while Longboat is quiet and peaceful, it isn’t isolated.

casa del mar is a beautiful resort with lush tropical plants and a newly installed paver driveway and parking area that adds to the previously gorgeous surroundings Many resorts in the area are overdue for such renovations, and Casa Del Mar has them in abundance. Casa Del Mar's office and grounds crew teams are exceptionally helpful and friendly. The office is open seven days a week to take care of your needs and there is also nighttime security present in case of an emergency. The resort sits right on its own private, beautiful, soft white sandy beach and has an exceptionally large heated pool, tennis and basketball courts, shuffleboard, newly updated grilling area and lots of activities. The resort has provides lounge chairs around the pool and for the private beach area, sturdy new beach umbrellas are available for rent for a small fee (they put them up and take them down for you) and the resort provides linens, bath and beach towels. Located in the middle of the island, Casa Del Mar has convenient access to all of the island’s pleasures..
