The four-acre estate includes a beautiful towering pine grove behind the house, a dock, several picnic areas, and majestic panoramic views of Bass Cove and the Arundel Golf Club course. Our land forms a small peninsula into Bass Cove, so we named the property Bass Cove Point.
bass cove point was originally farmland in the 1800s, and parts of our property were used to make masts and rigging for schooners and to manufacture bricks for local buildings One hundred fifty years ago, wooden boats were built in Bass Cove and along the Kennebunk River. A nearby wooden boat-building school continues these traditions today.
