My apartment is diagonally across from Summerhall and is perfect for visiting Edinburgh for the festival and all year around. Newington area has lots of restaurants, cafes, pubs and wine bars as well as great groceries.
the castle market is 20 mins walk away and the royal mile is 15 mins walk away 20 mins away is Princess St which has the tram from the airport and the tram to Leith. Nearby in the centre of town are ghost tours, pubs, restaurants, cafes and shopping. Good restaurants, cafes and groceries within a 5 mins walk.
many edinburgh festival sites are within walking distance including summerhall, pleasance and the meadows For a breath of fresh air Arthurs seat and the Craggs are a 15 mins walk away and the Meadows is on your door step. Blackford hill is a 40mins walk away or 5 mins by car.

this is a quirky arty unique central edinburgh apartment It is my home and is furnished to a standard for home living. Each room is decorated with local art work and vintage details. Both bedrooms feature a double bed and ample space for your belongings. The large kitchen has plenty of space to seat 4 people for meals and has a gas hob. The kitchen contains all major appliances including toaster, kettle, toastie maker, milk frother, coffee makers (pour over or stove top), slow cooker, rice cooker, etc.
the shower has on demand hot water with good water pressure Water in Edinburgh is delicious and can be drunk straight from the tap.
this apartment is on the top floor of a tenement building with no lift It is close to George Square and Kings Buildings.
