the property was built in 1550 by vittoria piccolomini todeschini, the niece of popes pius ii and paul iii It subsequently passed through the generations until 2019 when Vittoria, the granddaughter of Maria Luisa Galgani Corvi, embarked on its magnificent refurbishment. The heart of the building was retained, together with its pretty 16th century chapel, and the Conti Galgani farm estate and olive grove was established.
