Positive: The apartment was clean, and the a/c was a life saver. It was a good location, being a 10 minute drive from Kona town, and super easy to access. It was a walk up on the 3rd floor which did not bother us for our weekend stay. I liked all the amenities-most kitchen things we needed were available, including condiments. There were also toiletries, although the conditioner wasn't the best. The washing machine had detergent, and I was surprised that there were beach chairs and even a snorkeling mask!
Negative: I was a little worried about check in because I didn't get the door code until the last minute. Then there were instructions to register the car for parking and I figured out the place to drop the parking info was across the street on the other side of the property, along with the pool and the beach. The TV couldn't connect to the internet, and we tried to troubleshoot with the host but all options failed. TBH, it was fine but it would have been nicer if it worked. I wish there was a restaurant nearby-the Poke Shack was closed on the weekends. While the washing machine was great, it was SUPER loud, so if I had known, I would have waited until morning to run it the first time.
