on rockford’s east side, this tucked away little neighborhood of mid-1950’s & 60’s homes is centrally located, quiet and safe Best of all it borders beautiful Aldeen Park which includes wooded hiking paths, wide open spaces and a nature center. Nearby is Alpine Hills Adventure Park for tubing, snow boarding and zip lining! The Mauh-Nah-Tee-See Country Club is next door. Other public golf courses are close by. Close to everything anyone would need—good restaurants, grocery stores and services are all minutes out the door. Downtown Rockford with The River District, Davis Park, Nicholas Conservatory & Sinnissippi Park, Rockford Art Museum, Burpee Natural History Musuem and many other attractions and events are only 10 minutes away... as is the world famous Anderson Japanese Gardens and Frank Loyd Wright’s Laurent House. In addition to the things that are listed nearby, Sportscore I & II and UW Sports Factory facilities are within 15 minutes. Rock Cut State Park is 15 minutes away. For being in the middle of everything, you'll find it amazingly quiet and private here.
