The house is located only 600 m from Stillinge beach. Stillinge beach is very busy in the summer and the area offers many excursions, including the old Viking brug Trelleborg, the town of Slagelse with pedestrian zone, cafes and shopping. Slagelse is also home to one of Denmark's largest barracks and every Wednesday you can see the Guard Hussars ride through the town. Take a trip across the Great Belt Bridge and visit some of the beautiful castles on Funen, for example Egeskov, or go to Legoland in Billund. Anglers will find good fishing conditions along the coast. If you love golf, there is a golf course about 18 km away. The small peninsula Reersø is also worth a visit. The natural landscape of the whole island is protected because of the rare animal and plant life, once around the island to hike or bike. The island is also known for its population of tailless cats.
