Summary: I cannot say enough great things about this cabin. From the moment we walked in, we were enamored with the gorgeous views of the lake from the picture windows. Although our winter visit coincided with a rainy spell, we stayed happy with lots of fun things to do in the area, a cozy and warm cabin, & great WiFi. The cabin is perhaps even more spacious than it appears from the photos, with comfy beds and sofas. It is also very clean and obviously well cared for. The gas fireplace was lovely. There is a cabinet with board/card games as well as a standing table shuffleboard game. The extremely large smart TV was nice for the nights we didn't want to venture out into the rain. The kitchen may not be large, but it is well-equipped with a Keurig coffeemaker & everything we needed for our stay. The dining room table is large & perfect for meals/games.The owner Steve was incredibly communicative from the beginning, offering to answer any questions about the area & to make recommendations. It was very reassuring to know that Steve lives nearby & if we had any trouble during our stay, he would help. My family can't wait to make plans to return to this cabin. It is in a fabulous location, on the lake between Port Carling & Bracebridge. The nearby Huckleberry Rock Lookout trail offers an amazing overview of Lake Muskoka, and Muskoka Lakes Farm and Winery (offering great snowshoeing & wine tasting) is only 20 mins away. Thank you, Steve, for a wonderful stay!
