the nearby de maashorst nature reserve (2400 hectares in size) is well maintained and is home to beautiful hiking trails, cycle paths, mountain bike routes and a gnome trail for the youngest nature lovers The visitor centre of this nature reserve is at walking distance from the lodge.
5 km away is the small town of uden, where you can go for daily shopping but also for shopping or a bite to eat in one of the many cosy restaurants The oldest city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen, is 35 km from the accommodation.
