Sun Mesa House is located on Florida Mesa just 9 miles south of Downtown Durango Colorado. With 360-degree view of southwest Colorado it is no less than spectacular. The House is surrounded by irrigated farmland. You look across the hay fields to see the La Plata Mountains, Needles Peaks, and even down into New Mexico. It is just amazing views, amazing sunsets, it feels like real old west painting.
sun mesa house is about 15 min drive from Downtown Durango, 10 Min. from the Air Port and BP Head offices, 10 Min. from Mercy Medical Hospital, 30 Min. from Aztec NM , 45 Min. from Farmington, and 30 Min. from Ignacio and the Sky Ute Casino.
the house occupies the upstairs of a duplex It has it’s own private parking, entrance, and fenced back yard with double decks. on sun mesa farm we have horses, a donkey, chickens, cats and large friendly dog, all of which are fenced out of your private back yard!

it's master bathroom features a large jacuzzi tub, jetted for great bubble baths Equipped with a separate shower the bathroom feels luxurious with lots of space, towels, and robes. The second bathroom is a half bath at the top of the stairs adjacent to the living room.
this house features a kitchen that would delight any cook Large and U shaped, it opens to the living room, creating an ideal space for entertaining. Plentiful counter space, high-end appliances, and a gas range all create a easy and open space to cook. Plenty of dishes, pans, and even nice chefs knives are provided. You can count on nice pots and pans, good knives, coffee pot, microwave, toaster, crock-pot and blender to make meals effortless. if you enjoy cooking, you will love this kitchen!
the comfortable living room has a sleeper couch that makes into a queen sized bed There is also a large high definition flat screen TV, making movie night a special event.
feel welcomed by the entryway that features a coat closet and a place to put your shoes Follow the stairs up into a home of lofted ceilings.
we had a ton of fun decorating this house with a modern southwest, cowboy feel It is sunny and bright and set out in beautiful country. i think you will just love it!
just a note about the name: sun mesa In Durango and the North Valley you in a valley and the sun goes down early. Up here on Florida Mesa we get a couple more hours of sunshine per day. This is wonderful in the winter. The house has south facing windows that let the sunshine in.
