This fantastic cottage is in the peaceful village of Woodgreen, which is in The New Forest. You are very likely to see horses, donkeys and cattle wandering past your front gate and they are often seen grazing on the green opposite the property.
speedwell cottage has a spacious open kitchen and dining area perfect for spending time together and cooking up some delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen There is a comfortable living area with a Smart TV and Freesat box, a wonderful window seat where you can see the front garden and onto the lane where the ponies could be wandering past. Upstairs is a spacious kingsize bedroom with zip and link beds which can be made up as a twin or a king on request, a twin room which can also be turned into a double bed on request and a small single room with a pull-out bed leading towards an en-suite shower room. The main bathroom has a beautiful roll-top bath, a cubicle shower and underfloor heating. At the back of the property there is a small patio area, and at the front is a spacious, lawned garden suitable for playing games, eating outside, and enjoying the weather.

Woodgreen is a small village with a population of approximately 550 and is situated on the north west edge of the New Forest. Woodgreen Common is designated as a site of special scientific interest. From Speedwell Cottage a short walk up the hill (0.7km) will lead you to the open common, and a short walk down the hill and across Woodgreen village green will put you straight into a wooden enclosure called Godshill Enclosure. There are many walks and cycle rides that can be undertaken directly from the cottage. Woodgreen also boasts a wonderful village pub serving traditional British cuisine, which is an easy walk of less than 1 mile from the cottage (make sure you have a torch for the way home), and a delightful village store and post office.

Nearby there is a waterpark, which offers windsurfing, sailing, fishing and water sports, and there is horse riding and golf in the area too.
