You are in a peaceful elevated position above the ever popular coastal town of Whitby, with the most incredible views where you can take in the sights all around you. You’ll feel on top of the world, watching the waves, boats and scenery down below.

The 199 steps lead up to the cliff top where St Mary’s Church overlooks the town, next to the Gothic ruins of Whitby Abbey. In the harbour there is the HMS Endeavour, a replica of Captain Cook’s ship which was built and sailed from Whitby on his voyages of discovery. The ship is now a floating restaurant with a Captain Cook exhibition, a great spot for discovering more about the history of this seafaring town.
