Outside there is a rear patio, which is enclosed for your furry friends' safety, with furniture so you can enjoy some al fresco dining and a garage which can be used for bike/canoe storage. From Fellside Lodge you can indulge in a number of bars and eateries, browse round the lovely local shops, visit The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction or learn more about boats and team at the interesting Jetty museum. With Lake Windermere so close by, you can get stuck into watersports, or enjoy a boat trip across to Brockhole, Ambleside and Lakeside. Once in Lakeside, you can visit the popular aquarium or hop aboard the 3.2-mile-long heritage railway to Haverthwaite, and whilst on that side of the Lake, take a tree-top adventure at Go Ape in Grizedale. Also nearby there is a golf course, some great walking and cycling trails and the market town of Ambleside which has a great number of shops, eateries, museums, galleries, and the ruins of a medieval castle.
