Our holiday home is located in a quiet residential area outside the town centre, with a view of the Northern Vosges and the Palatinate Forest. The 5-10 minute walk into the town centre leads along the Lauter river and the medieval town wall.

Ulrichs church in neighbouring Altenstadt (11th century), the old salt house (1448), the Holzapfel house (1475), an old patrician house (1491) and the Vogelsberger house (1540) on Quai Anselmann, the old commandery of the Teutonic Knights (1606), the old hospital (1700), the town hall (1752), and much more. In addition to the old town, the Bruch quarter is particularly worth seeing.
