We offer a holiday flat with 2 bedrooms. 1 bedroom for 2 adults in a double bed (180x200cm). 2nd bedroom with a single bed (90x200cm). Further sleeping possibilities on request. This holiday flat is on the 1st floor with cosy sloping ceilings. Initially the seat of the bailiff, Schauenstein Castle became private property in 1716. In 1933, Schauenstein Castle became the property of the town following a donation. In the meantime, it also houses the municipal museum of local history and the Upper Franconian fire brigade museum. The registry office of the town of Schauenstein is also located in the romantic tower room of Schauenstein Castle, which was reopened to the public in 2015 following a three-year renovation programme.
